Day to day leadership and management of Bishop Young Academy.
Mr Cooper began teaching 20 years ago as a PE teacher at Woodkirk, before moving to Abbey Grange to join the Senior Leadership Team.
He has considerable experience of leading on a range of whole school areas including inclusion, SEN, partnerships and student outcomes.
Having attended a school in a disadvantaged area of Hull, he is passionate about ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, are provided with outstanding teaching, excellent pastoral support and able to access additional opportunities to enable them to flourish.
Outside of school, Mr Cooper is a keen sportsman and has competed at international level in Athletics and Powerlifting.
